Dr. Kevin Kettler
Dr. Kevin Kettler brings to Symwave 29 years of management and engineering experience in the personal computer industry. As chief technical officer of Dell, he is responsible for the design, development and performance analysis of core architectures for the Dell product portfolio, including client, server, storage, imaging and consumer products. He is also responsible for defining and driving Dell’s strategic technology initiatives and solutions around the scalable enterprise, flexible computing and digital home. Prior to joining Dell, he worked at IBM for 12 years, supporting and developing personal computer systems. Dr. Kettler is an Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and serves on the engineering advisory councils at the University of Texas College of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Kettler recently announced his upcoming retirement and has founded Charity Partners of Austin (CPA) – a nonprofit organization that raises money to local charities through music and art events.

Brian Chubboy
Brian Chubboy brings to Symwave 24 years of technology industry and retail experience. As a senior manager for Best Buy’s Exclusive Brands, Mr. Chubboy currently manages the evaluation and selection of suppliers focusing on flat panel TVs, MP3, computer accessories, networking products, speaker solutions and wireless and mobile accessories. Mr. Chubboy offers Symwave his unique perspective due to his involvement and knowledge of the consumer electronics market and retail channel processes. Since 1984, he has held a variety of engineering and business management roles at CCS, Dell, HP and Raytheon. Mr. Chubboy has extensive experience working with system OEMs, ODMs and semiconductor suppliers. Prior to joining Best Buy, he was instrumental in the successful deployment of both Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi at Dell, and worked closely with technology leaders such as Intel, Broadcom and others.

Gil Frostig
Gil Frostig brings to Symwave over 25 years of industry-leading semiconductor experience at Intel. As vice president of the Mobility Group, and director of Low Power Components and Platforms Wireless for the Ultra Mobility Group (UMG), Mr. Frostig oversees the development of next generation solutions including the recently launched Atom™ technology targeted at Mobile Internet Devices, Notebooks and Nettops. Prior to his current role, Mr. Frostig held various positions including vice president of Intel’s Communications Group which developed wired communication (LANs) and storage solutions and pioneered Intel’s Wi-Fi solution for the Intel Centrino® Platform. He also held various other engineering and management positions at Intel since 1983, including in the development of the Pentium® OverDrive processor. Mr. Frostig is the recipient of the Intel Achievement Award in 1991 for project-leading the development of the i860XP processor.

Vahid Manian
Vahid Manian brings to Symwave 25 years of experience and is considered by many the most accomplished Operations executive in the entire semiconductor industry. As a Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) board member for many years, including the position of Vice-Chairman of the Board, Mr. Manian gained a broad and comprehensive perspective on all relevant aspects of the semiconductor industry. Mr. Manian was the first Operations Manager at Broadcom, and for 13 years, he built and managed the Global Manufacturing Operations organization. During his tenure at Broadcom, he developed and perfected the fabless semiconductor model, and grew Broadcom’s annual revenue to greater than $4 billion. Prior to joining Broadcom, Mr. Manian spent 12 years at Silicon Systems, Inc., a mixed-signal semiconductor manufacturer, the last 6 years serving as Director of Operations. At Silicon Systems he led the implementation, production ramp and qualification of advanced PRML-read channel integrated circuits, used by the leading Hard Disk Drive (HDD) manufacturers.
