Yossi Cohen

President & CEO

Mr. Cohen comes to Symwave after more than 10 years of successful management roles at Broadcom, and most recently managed over 1,000 engineers as Senior Vice President and Group General Manager of the Mobile Platforms Group. Before the Mobile Platforms Group, he was Vice President and General Manager of Broadcom’s Bluetooth Business Unit, responsible for its massive growth into the PC, cell phones, gaming and peripheral segments. Prior to growing the Bluetooth unit, he initiated the company’s Gigabit controller business and helped drive it to be the market leader within its category. Earlier on, Mr. Cohen helped drive a number of other successful businesses at Broadcom, including Fast and Gigabit Ethernet transceivers and switches. Mr. Cohen also gained valuable M&A experience while at Broadcom, driving or participating in eight strategic acquisitions totaling several billion dollars. Prior to joining Broadcom, Mr. Cohen held various management positions at National Semiconductor. Mr. Cohen holds a BSEE degree from The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Christopher Thomas
CTO
Christopher Thomas has over 10 years of experience and leadership in the semiconductor industry and has 11 patents issued or pending. Mr. Thomas worked for Conexant Systems in the Digital Infotainment division, focusing on Audio and Video products for the PC and set-top box market, and in Motorola's Core Technology Group, developing wireless baseband ICs for handset, pager, and Bluetooth products.

Jun Ye
VP of Engineering / General Manager, Shenzhen
Jun Ye has over 11 years of leadership experience in the high-speed mixed signal semiconductor industry and has 6 patents issued or pending. While working for Conexant Systems, Mr. Ye led the development of several high performance IC products. Mr. Ye is well known as a leading world expert in data converter and PLL technologies.

Bill Peavey
CFO
Bill Peavey has over 25 years of experience as a CEO, CFO, and Board Member with technology companies from start-up to $125 million in annual revenues. Most recently he served as CFO at RF Magic, an RFIC company based in San Diego, CA. Prior to RF Magic, Mr. Peavey was President and CEO of Nurlogic Design, a mixed signal and analog intellectual property ("IP") company for the semiconductor industry that was sold to a public company, Artisan Components, in February 2003.

Glen Liang
VP of Operations
Glen Liang, has over 11 years of management and engineering experience in semiconductor product, test and assembly engineering. Previous to Symwave, Mr. Liang was a Director of Engineering at ASE, a leading packaging supplier, where he directed R&D and Operation teams of 60+ engineers in development and sustaining engineering. Prior to ASE, Mr. Liang was the Director of Operations at HBA INC, where he established the company’s production flows and brought the company’s 650 line-items into production readiness. HBA INC was acquired by AMIC group in 2003. Prior to HBA, Mr. Liang held management and engineering positions in product and test engineering at Integrated Device Technology. Glen earned a MSEE from Arizona State University.

Greg Mauro
VP of Corporate Development
Greg Mauro is the Managing Partner of Revolution Ventures. Mr. Mauro has authored the original business plans and led business development for six startups that have collectively received over $225M in venture capital. Mr. Mauro led the sale of ComStream's semiconductor division, a digital communications pioneer, to Conexant Systems. Mr. Mauro was responsible for initiating ComStream's cable modem business and, later, Conexant's digital television businesses.
